Canyon to Campus

Inspired by the loungewear brand, Aerie, this collection features five patterns created for the 2023 back to school season.

My process included watercolor sketches, texture and material exploration, and target market research.

Tropic Like It’s Hot

A collection inspired by Target's line "Opalhouse". This collection features hand painted florals, birds, and mark making motifs as well as digitally rendered elements.

The collection features two series—one for patio and one for bedding—to envision hot summer days in different home settings.

Crab a Drink by the Pool

This Collection is inspired by Lilly Pulitzer's whimsical patterns and was created with a poolside resort luncheon in mind. It features one main pattern with different color-ways, two supporting, and a ribbon pattern.

The patterns are maximalist and dense without being overwhelming. They are applied to gift products such as plates, cocktail napkins, and tumblers.

Lavender Frost

This Holiday collection was inspired by Rifle Paper Co. and was created with the idea of a trending plum colored Christmas in mind. All of the elements are hand drawn, hand painted, and the text is hand lettered.

These prints are prefect gift wrap for an elegant holiday party.

Seaside Sailing

This Children’s Collection was inspired by sailing adventures and the seasides of Maine. The motifs were hand drawn with crayon and scanned in digitally to create the perfect aesthetic for toddler boys apparel.

Seaside Sailing was designed with the children’s brand Carter’s in mind.

Carnivorous Lillies

This pattern creates an unexpected combination of grand floral elements and carnivorous plants. It was imagined fir the interiors of the famous painted ladies in San Fransisco. The combination of the hand painted lilies and the line work Venus flytrap add a modern and preppy pop to a reimagined, classic print.

This print was entered into the Virginia Jackson Upholstery competition.

Nature Walk

These carpet prints were designed with the intention of inhabiting a luxurious senior living high rise in the city. The prints aim to emphasize bringing nature into the industrial city scape and modern living space. I scanned in tree rubbings and manipulated them digitally to create patterns.
